An Experienced Nurse Practitioner with a Passion for People
William launched his career in healthcare 32 years ago when he graduated with his Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. Since that time, he has successfully combined his previous experience in Emergency Department and Level 1 Trauma Intensive Care Unit Nursing with his passion for individualized patient care to serve as our Primary Care Provider.
William's diverse career includes his tenure as a Director of Nursing for a skilled care facility for geriatric care in Chicago, IL, faculty in the BSN program at Lyceum Northwestern University, Dagupan City, Philippines, as well as serving as a Hospitalist at Yuma Regional Medical Center.
William's drive and commitment for patient care comes from his extensive healthcare experience where he has cared for patients and their families in their most vulnerable moments. Private practice is William's way of creating that space in time for each patient for optimal quality care and treatment.
A Passion for Teaching
It seems that no matter where William has served, he finds himself training and mentoring new nurses or nurse practitioners.
William currently serves on the assessment faculty at the University of Phoenix where he mentors future nurse practitioners as they hone their physical assessment skills through the completion of their MSN-FNP program.
During his service as an Emergency Department nurse at Scottsdale Healthcare, William was the preceptor of the newly developed U.S. Air Force Nurse Fellowship program. He was particularly proud to serve in this role and was honored by the US Air Force for his instruction.
William continues to serve as a supervisor for MSN-FNP candidates during their clinical rotations.
